Gamardah Fungus is experimental band from Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk. 
The musical material of the band is meditative drone ambient, adjoining slow depressive sludge & viscous dark jazz full of despair. 
In this music guitar & woodwind solos are drowning in the street and factory noises, few and far between drum rhythms are choking in synthesizer passages, winds are sliding in the vaults of the human souls and flirting with subconsciousness.

For a few years of their activity guitarist Sergey Absurd_Maers Yagoda and electronician Igor Yalivec yalivec have released multiple albums where they collaborated with the Tibetan monk Tenzin Sambu, the Ukrainian singer-songwriter Voida, the American waterphonist and great number of other people and instruments.
In 2013 a saxophonist player Sergey Ulitzky has began playing with the band. He took responsibility for all woodwinds in Gamardah Fungus.

Music of this bans is widely used in the American documentary films, in the German social projects, in the Canadian and New Zealand advertising, etc. The band has already released two official videos to their music, created a soundtrack to a movie about the American surfers, performed live with Canadians Nadja, Belgian Dirk Serries and famous Ukrainian writer Lyubko Deresh.

According to them: “Music which is done by Gamardah Fungus is a result of insinuating interception of sounds of the eternal silence, transferred to audience by means of all tools available to mediums. It is an impartial and cold gaze on things and the processes exciting minds of people who don’t reflect on cause and effect, about a principle of universal cold calculation …”
